King Kong premiere in Vietnam literally went up in fire

The shocking incident was captured on video at a shopping mall at Ho Chi Minh City where a huge Gorilla model burst into flames, setting the stage on fire around it, reports TMZ.

The blaze, which spectators first thought was part of the celebration, was allegedly caused by a stray tiki torch or a prop volcano next to the statue.
Luckily no one was injured in the fire and firefighters managed to tackle the blaze in 15 minutes.

But, as they say, the show must go on, and the premiere continued as normal despite the massive firing inferno.
King Kong: Skull Island, starring Samuel L. Jackson, Brie Larson and Tom Hiddleston, was partly filmed in Vietnam.
