Donald Trump once kicked One Direction out of his hotel

The lads were once rudely interrupted while they were catching 40 winks by a request from America’s new president, but were later booted unceremoniously out of his hotel because they refused to do it.
Donald Trump once kicked One Direction out of his hotel

Liam Payne revealed the little anecdote in his new interview with Rollacoaster magazine, where he said that when they refused to meet the POTUS’s kid, he kicked them out on the street.
‘Trump actually kicked us out of his hotel once. … You wouldn’t believe it. It was about [meeting] his daughter,’ Liam divulged. That’s not very nice, Donald.
Liam went on to reveal the lads were left to fend for themselves on the streets of New York despite the fact going outside was a bit of a problem for the biggest boyband in the world.
‘[Trump] phoned up our manager and we were asleep. He said “well, wake them up” and I was like “no” and then he wouldn’t let us use the underground garage,’ Liam he said.
‘Obviously in New York we can’t really go outside. New York is ruthless for us. So he was like, “OK, then I don’t want you in my hotel.” So we had to leave.’
Trump probably didn’t get much support from them during his campaign.
Liam also went on to recount another significant moment in his life – the moment One Direction learned they had come fourth on The X Factor, which left the lads a ball of emotions.
Liam recalled that Harry, Louis, Niall and Zayn were all in floods of tears as the news sunk in, when a camera man came over asking for an interview.
‘A cameraman came over and said “can I get you boys for an interview?” and I looked at all the boys crying, in their mum’s arms and I was like, “look, I’ll do the interview” because I was the only one who was alright and so I went off to the side and did the after-camera interview for us.
‘I just left them because I wanted them to have their moment and the cameras didn’t need to see them like that.’
