Some exciting hints about The Game Of Thrones trailer
It looks like all we’re seeing is Jon Snow, Daenerys and Cersei approaching their seats it actually gives away some exciting hints.
6 main things you need to know from the latest trailer:
Jon Snow, Daenerys and Cersei are in it to win it, the Iron Throne that is.
With the trailer based around Jon Snow, Daenerys and Cersi walking candlelit corridors to take their place on the throne, it looks pretty set that it will be these three in the fight over who wins The Game Of Thrones.
Unless they come together to defeat the White Walkers.
The White Walkers are never far away from Westeros and we get a sneaky hint of them at the end of the trailer with the close up of a White Walker’s eye.
Could this mean they’ll be involved in the series final clash for power?
Or, it could mean the whole thing takes place inside the eye of a blue giant.
Yes you read that right and no, we’re not drunk. Some fans on Winter Is Coming have been quick to point out that there might be a slightly different reason for the blue eye if you’ve followed the show closely. Very closely.
Way back when in season one Robb Stark told Bran about one of Old Nan’s wacky stories saying: ‘One time she told me the sky is blue because we live inside the eye of a blue-eyed giant named Macumber.’
And we’d have thought nothing more of it if it hadn’t been brought back up in season four.
Talking about Joffrey’s death Tywin said: ‘Some believe the king choked’. To which Oberyn replied: ‘Some believe the sky is blue because we live inside the eye of a blue-eyed giant’.
It seems far fetched but this is a fantasy programme about Dragons, Kings and Queens and the battle for a throne so ultimately anything is possible.
Could there be a link between Cersei and the White Walkers?
Just before the White Walker’s eye appears in a blink-and-you’ll-miss it moment we see Cersei breathe an icy breath.
While this could just be a reference to the fact that winter has come, it could also suggest some kind of link to the White Walkers.
Hmm, watch this space.
The White Walkers have their eyes on the wall.
Eagle eyed fans have spotted a very faint image of what could potentially be the wall, where the Night’s Watch protect the Seven Kingdoms from the heathen beyond, in the close up of the eye at the end of the trailer.
Now, if this is a White Walkers’ eye it could mean they are planning to take on the wall and make it into the rest of the kingdom to take on Westeros.
If, however, it is that blue giant that the whole of Westeros live inside then we’re not sure what it means. Sorry folks.
But, most excitingly of all, Daenerys has a new throne.
That’s right, Daenerys has found a new, rather different throne of her own which looks like it could be pretty sharp to sit on.
Given the signature stone it could be that our favourite Mother Of Dragons could be at Dragonstone, which used to belong to her ancestors.
Oh and one final thing that is very important: the music is great.
