Twilight's Kristen Stewart debuts a shocking new look

The indie darling showed off a shaved head that had been died peroxide blonde at the Los Angeles premiere for her new movie Personal Shopper, 

and it seemed that the 26-year-old was in high spirits, as she pulled silly faces on the carpet, where she was joined by director Oliver Assayas.

Kristen, who found fame in 2008 as the star of the blockbuster franchise Twilight, dated her co-star Robert Pattison before they split amidst the news that she cheated on him with film director Rupert Sanders.

Now the actress, who for years refused to confirm she was dating Robert nor discuss her private life, has revealed that she is now happy to talk because coming out because it ‘just seemed important’ and that it was ‘an opportunity to surrender a bit of what was mine, to make even one other person feel good about themselves’.

Speaking to The Sunday Times, she admitted that she kept her life away from the public eyes because she wanted her life to remain her own, adding that she hated that ‘details of my life were being turned into a commodity and peddled around the world’.

‘If it didn’t seem like a relevant topic, like something that needed help, I would have kept my life private forever. But then I can’t walk outside holding somebody’s hand, as I’m followed everywhere. When I was dating Rob, the public was the enemy — and that is no way to live. It wasn’t this grand statement, “I was so confused! Now I’ve realized who I am!”,’ she added.
