But unfortunately Darrell Hamilton Junior’s plan to propose to his girlfriend Rheanna was ruined after he vomited at the completely wrong moment.

The romantic video journalist had written a sign saying ‘Merry me?’ in his cousin’s garden, which was on the flightpath.

He then planned for his lover to see the message during the helicopter ride on February 11.

Darrell quickly realised he had spelt ‘Merry’ wrong but that was soon about to the least of his worries.

Because after setting up a camera to capture their special moment, Darrell became queasy.

He quickly tried to ignore the queasiness and knew it was now or never.

Taking a ring box out of his pocket, he tapped her on the arm.

Yet before she could even respond, Darrell vomited all over his feet.

The hilarious video, which has been shared thousands of times on social media, ends with Rheanna rubbing his back with one hand and asking him if he’s okay.
