The man, who is clearly pleased with himself, punctures the metal on one of the predator’s teeth.
He then sucks his mouth onto it to slurp out the beer, while his friends look on admiringly.
The stunt went viral after it was featured on the social media site ‘Total Frat Move’, with the man in the footage apparently an American student enjoying the recent Spring Break time off university.
Drinking beer like this is known as ‘shotgunning’ as the liquid flows out quickly so has to be downed.

The video sparked anger on social media with one user saying: ‘So not okay. sharks deserve enough respect to not be used as a drinking prop by boys with a single digit IQ but OK pal.’
Another said ‘this is the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.’
The shark appears to have a fishing line extending from its mouth, but it is not known if it had already washed up on the beach before this.
