Krispy Kreme launching a special Mother’s Day doughnuts

If you’re really committed to celebrating Mother’s Day, the obvious answer is doughnuts. It’s always doughnuts.

Yes, you could make an effort and actually make your mum some doughnuts to show her how much you appreciate her, but let’s be real: we’re all incredibly lazy and can’t quite be bothered.

So rejoice, because Krispy Kreme has stepped up to offer us the Mother’s Day specific doughnuts we’ve been waiting for.

Did we previously think that the world needed Mother’s Day doughnuts? Honestly, no.

But now we’ve seen them, we’re convinced. These doughnuts are entirely necessary.

In honour of Mother’s Day, Krispy Kreme is launching a special gift box. This gift box is £6, features three brand new doughnut flavours, and will only be available on 25 March and 26 March.

The three snazzy flavours are…

Krispy Kreme's Mother's Day flavours:

• Strawberry and Biscuit Dream: A doughnut filled with caramelised biscuit Kreme, dipped in strawberry glaze, and topped with white chocolate shavings and caramelised biscuit crumbs
• Belgian Chocolate Brownie: A doughnut filled with brownie batter, dipped in dark Belgian chocolate, and topped with milk chocolate shavings and a white chocolate drizzle
• Salted Caramel and Honeycomb Crunch: A doughnut filled with salted caramel, dipped in Belgian white chocolate, and topped with crunchy honeycomb pieces and a caramel drizzle

Oh, and the box is decorated with a floral design, so it’s a bit like getting your mum a traditional bunch of flowers. Although we’d recommend getting a bunch of flowers too, just in case.
