King Kong’s Skull Island has been added to Google Maps
Google Maps have teamed up with Legendary and Universal Pictures
to post the location online to promote the new King King movie out later this month.
Listed as an ‘archaeological site’, Skull Island sits just below the equator to the west of South America.
And despite being a figment of the imagination, the island has already had over 6,000 reviews.
One user posted about the beauty of the site, but warned about the island’s inhabitant.
They wrote: ‘The island itself is amazing and would in any other location be heaven on earth, a little piece of paradise.
‘However, the mood quickly changes once you have your first encounter with the King himself. Kong had to be at least 100 feet tall.’
