Emma Watson responds to criticism over her topless Vanity

The 26-year-old came under fire for the high fashion shoot with photographer Tim Walker, 

in which she was accused by many across social media of bringing her feminist views into question by agreeing to get her kit off for the magazine.

Watson has now hit back at the ‘confusing’ rhetoric, saying the whole point feminism is about ‘choice’ – just like her decision to pose in the shoot.

‘Feminism is about giving women choice. Feminism is not a stick about which to beat other women with,’ she told Reuters.

‘It’s about freedom, it’s about liberation, it’s about equality.

‘I really don’t know what my tits have to do with it. It’s very confusing.’
