The rather fancy amphibian now boasts a collection of pink top hats, purple snapbacks and orange cowboy hats.
Designer of the hats, Chris Newsome, first noticed his the toad sitting on his porch every night.
Rewarding his loyalty the man wanted to do something to make Mr Toad feel special.
He wrote on a post online: ‘I decided to enter the world of toad millinery and help the little guy out. Foam paper seemed like a toad friendly material.’
Newsome started to take pictures of his toady friend dressed up because a child he knew had recently lost his own pet toad.
He explained to Mashable: ‘He was crying about his toad and he remembered Mr. Toad.

‘He asked if Mr. Toad was still coming to visit me every night, so to make him feel better I sent him a photo to show that Mr. Toad was alive and well.’
Adding: ‘I started making the hats to cheer him up because all kids would laugh at a toad with a hat.’
He shared the image on Reddit and Imgur and the posts have now gone viral.
