Manny Pacquiao agreed with Amir Khan for April 23 fight confirmed date

The pair will clash at welterweight after Pacquiao decided to fight the British fighter when Khan came out the clear winner from a Twitter poll ran by the WBO champion.

Khan has not fought since May 2016 and comes into the fight off the back of a devastating knockout at the hands of Canelo Alvarez.

But Khan will be confident he will be catching Pacquiao at the tail end of his career with the 38-year-old coming out of a short-lived retirement last November.

Pacquiao beat Jessie Vargas to reclaim the WBO belt and will fight Khan with just six defeats in a 67-fight career.

Khan also confirmed the news via his Twitter as he prepares to return to the ring against one of the best welterweights ever.
