It looks like Barack Obama and Richard Branson have are working on their bromance.
The former president and the billionaire businessman are spending some quality time together after Barack’s departure from the White House.
The ex-POTUS and the Virgin mogul have been pictured kite-surfing as the Obama family enjoyed a week-long holiday on Branson’s private Necker Island.
‘It was a huge honour to be able to invite President Barack and Michelle Obama down to the British Virgin Islands for a complete break after Barack finished his second term as President and the family left the White House,’ blogged Branson on the Virgin website.
‘One of the first stories Barack told me when he and Michelle arrived on Moskito Island was how, just before he became President, he had been surfing on a dangerous break in Hawaii. When he came in from an exhilarating session, the new head of his security team turned to him and said, “This will be the last time you surf for eight years.”’
The high-profile pair quickly rectified Obama’s break from the waves with a surfing competition.
Branson challenged Obama to master kite-surfing before he learned how to foilboard.
