Rare white lion cubs snuggle up to dad at zoo in Germany

Four extremely rare lion cubs have been pictured snuggling up to their parents almost two months after they were born at a zoo in Germany.

The eight week old white lion cubs were pictured playing together before cuddling up to their mother Kiara and father, Madiba.
The cubs – three males and one female – were born in their enclosure on Christmas Day and now weigh between eight and 11 kilograms each.
The lions have a recessive gene which causes their light colouring and are only found in the Greater Timbavati region in South Africa.
