Woman weighing 490kg cut out of her house for a life-saving operation
One of the 10 most obese people in the world has been cut from her home and airlifted to hospital in a desperate bid to save her life.
Isabella Amaral is just 30 years old, but weighs 77 stone - about 490kg.
She cannot move or walk, and had to be taken from her home in her bed, before being transported in the back of a lorry, and then airlifted to the Provincial Hospital of Rosario in her home town in Argentina.
Workers cut a hole in the wall of her bedroom before she was removed.
Isabella will undergo a gastric bypass, which will restrict the amount of food her stomach can hold.
She was previously hospitalised with pneumonia, her family said, but she is no longer in danger.
The director of Hospital Management, Adrian Chapelet, said: "Isabella is being constantly treated and monitored.
"There is no emergency or emergency situation regarding her health."
