Scary swimming pool — suspended 500ft in the air
If you have a fear of heights, this isn’t the place for you. Even watching video of it is giving us a bit of vertigo, so imagine those were your feet walking out above a road 40 storeys below.
This scary swimming pool is located on the roof of an expensive apartment block in Houston, Texas. Footage from it looks like a normal pool at first, but then the walking just doesn’t stop. It carries on into what looks like thin air, making you afraid they could fall.
The pool is stretching out 10ft into the air, it’s known as the Sky Pool and is on the 42nd floor. And the bottom is made from 8 inch thick plexiglass, so you should be safe from any unexpected waterfalls.
The owners of Market Square Tower say it ‘offers a living experience like nothing Houston has ever seen before.’
But lots of people commenting online said there was no way they would be swimming up there.
‘It’s all fun til the pool gets a crack in it,’ Tony Gonzalez said.
Another, Susan Endaluz, said: ‘As long as it’s earthquake proof!’
To get access though, you’ll need to shell out between $1,805 a month for a studio apartment to $18,715 for a penthouse.
