New Twitter users will no longer have eggs as a default image

Twitter, a media giant is replacing them with a neutral silhouette to encourage people to personalise their accounts, which it hopes will end the abuse.

New Twitter users will no longer have eggs as a default image

Twitter said: "We’ve noticed patterns of behaviour with accounts that are created only to harass others – often they don’t take the time to personalise their accounts, This has created an association between the default egg profile photo and negative behaviour, which isn’t fair to people who are still new to Twitter and haven’t yet personalised their profile photo."
And some users are pleased they will no longer be harassed by eggs.
While others are not happy that they are leaving.
