Twitter has added new feature to protect you from spoilers
Twitter has added a new feature which, while not an instant spoiler blocker, allows users to create custom filters to mute certain words, phrases or hashtags from your feed.
With this, you have a choice to avoid the next gruesome death on The Walking Dead, simply mute the words ‘The Walking Dead’ and bask in your naïve glory.
This tool however isn’t completely foolproof, so you’ll probably want to initiate full ‘#GOT’, ‘Jon Snow’, #GameOfThrones’ lockdown when season seven begins in July and the only problem now is that loudmouth friend on Facebook. So just delete them. Done.
It can also help you to just muting things out of existence, like ‘Chiam’ or ‘Gary Barlow’, however the function does note you’ll see muted tweets in the search functions, so just don’t go dancing with the devil.
