Ronan Keating has revealed Boyzone’s reunion tour
"I’m sure we’ll mark it in some way. But whether by tour, record, book, musical. We haven’t decided yet."
A source close to the band confirmed to The Sun a Boyzone comeback was "well and truly on for 2018".
Back in March 2016, the former Westlife singer Brian McFadden teamed up with Boyzone’s Keith Duffy to form Boyzlife á la McBusted - performing greatest hits from the respective bands as a duo.
The said source added: ‘Obviously Keith has been doing his thing in Boyzlife for the past year, which has been brilliant, but now all four of the boys are coming together. It’s going to be a proper moment for pop music.’
Boyzone was formed in 1993 and went to become one of the UK’s greatest boyband acts in the 90s, nailing six number one singles, 18 UK top 10 tracks, and selling 25million records across the globe.
Calling it a day in 2000, the band were also reunited for a 2008 world tour which was joined by a greatest hits of their album.
Original member Stephen Gately tragically died from a congenital heart defect at his Mallorca home in Spain the following year on October 10, 2009.
