New fashion line of Victoria Beckham goes up to size 24
Working with US retailer Target, she’s to make more than 200 pieces for women and children that won’t have us staring into empty post purchase purses.
And now, Beckham’s clothing has become even more accessible – this time for women who wear larger clothing sizes.
While her previous designer range went up to a size 14, this one will go up to American XXXL – the equivalent of a British size 24.
‘There is a lot hanging on this for Victoria – it’s so different to everything she has done before,’ a source told Mail Online.
They added: ‘She usually designs for the very thin figure so it has certainly surprised people.’
Considering that the average dress size in the UK is a 16, it’s pretty appalling that this is the largest size many high street shops stock instore.
Either that, or we have to deal with sizing labels that aren’t even accurate.
