McDonald’s tweets to Donald Trump has tiny hands
At around 1.15pm GMT, the official McDonald’s company handle – @McDonaldsCorp – sent a tweet to the President telling him exactly what they thought of him.
It said: ‘@realDonaldTrump you are actually a disgusting excuse of a President and we would love to have @BarackObama back, also you have tiny hands.’
Then, just to really stick the knife in, they pinned it to the top of their page.
Unsurprisingly it got thousands of likes and retweets – before it was very quickly deleted.
Fortunately, however, almost everyone on Twitter managed to get a screenshot beforehand.
Given the lightning speed with which it was deleted, we’re guessing that the account was either hacked, or a social media manager went rogue on their last day with the company.
McDonald’s later tweeted that their account was ‘compromised’:
We’ve yet to get a response from Trump, but he’ll probably be a bit disappointed by the whole thing – McDonald’s is (or, rather, was) apparently his favourite food.
In fact, he was even in one of their adverts back in the day.
