Lorde tweets about Creme Egg made the internet confused
The Royals singer posted the Tweet on social media about wanting a little bit of Cadbury heaven, saying: ‘Soon i will eat a creme egg’.
But the cryptic message left some fans a little baffled, and some didn’t even know what a Creme Egg was *gasps*.
Some fans thought they were song lyrics for an upcoming hit (TBH a song about chocolate sounds right up our street).
Others replied they were chomping on the choccy treat as they were reading her social media.

And some just replied with Meryl Streep memes (#InternetProblems).
But some strange fans have never even heard of the confectionery treat, which is very upsetting.
Maybe they live in the far, far, far corners of the world where you can’t buy them.
Imagine the horror.
Lorde recently dropped new single Liability from her much-anticipated album Melodrama, expected to hit shelves on June 16.
After releasing Green Light at the beginning of March she tweeted: ‘I’m so proud of this song. It’s very different, and kinda unexpected. It’s complex and funny and sad and joyous and it’ll make you DANCE.’
But before that, let’s hope someone, anyone, gets Lorde a Creme Egg before they disappear from the shelves, AKA the worst time of the year.
