Laura's full message to fans
I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you for the many messages of support and love for Jim (and me) as we battle through this traumatic time.
It means so much to know you’re out there routing for his recovery. He’s still in intensive care, but making progress.
Hopefully it won’t be long before he can make his own status updates again. Laura x

Known for his role as Tom, the owner of the Leaky Cauldron in Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban, the third instalment of the hugely popular supernatural, Jim suffered 15 broken ribs, fractures in breastbones, a punctured lung [and] multiple breaks in his right leg in the crash as well as a broken neck.
The 54-year-old’s wife Laura posted a picture of the actor awake in his hospital bed looking worse for wear, covered in bruising, hooked up to several IV drips and with a neck brace on.
No further details have yet to be released about the accident, but The Guardian reported at the time that Jim spends most of his time in Los Angeles.
