Ed Sheeran’s third album has been burst by filthy hashtag
The Suffolk-born superstar, 26, has been bouncing around everywhere to promote the release of Divide, which his Twitter followers have been excitedly chattering about too.
But when someone kicked off a hashtag referring to a hypothetical internet Ed Sheeran party, and it began to trend, things took an X-rated turn.
Yep, lots of people have been starting to notice that #SheerAnalBumParty looks like an advert for a VERY different kind of party.
We’re talking about Bellinis, canapes and butt stuff.
Ed may be a bit of an expert on this area considering one of his lyrics on Divide goes: ‘I heard he’s on a new diet and watches what he eats / He’s got his eyebrows plucked and his a**ehole bleached.’
Hmm. Who’s that then? Is he invited?
Anyway, Twitter was having a great time at the shindig.

Er, that last tweet was probably unrelated, sorry.
This isn’t the first time an anal bum party has been held on Twitter in honour of a British popster.
Susan Boyle had one in 2013, under the heading #susanalbumparty, though arguably Ed’s is more explicit because of the sheer anal.
Some are worried these two incidents will set a terrifying precedent.
Sadly Ed probably doesn’t care much about his silly anal bum party, because his album is probably going to be the year’s best-seller.
He’s dominating the entire chart at the moment and shifted a three quarters of a million album copies after a week.
