Drop-out Mark Zuckerberg, finally get Harvard degree

That probably isn’t the case for billionaire Mark Zuckerberg, who left Harvard as a sophomore in 2004 to set up a little known website called Facebook.

But having said that the 32-year-old looks pretty happy that he will finally get an honorary degree for delivering the Harvard University class of 2017 commencement address in a video posted by the famous college.

The commencement address is a speech to graduating students.

Previous people to give the speech include Steven Spielberg, J.K Rowling and another tech billionaire Bill Gates, who also dropped out of Harvard.

The famous university has released a short video of the two, where Zuckerberg asks Gates for help in writing his speech.

Harvard president Drew Faust said: ‘Mark Zuckerberg’s leadership has profoundly altered the nature of social engagement worldwide.

‘Few inventions in modern times can rival Facebook in its far-reaching impact on how people around the globe interact with one another.

‘And few individuals can rival Mark Zuckerberg in his drive to change our world through the innovative use of technology, as well as his commitment to advance science, enhance education, and expand opportunity through the pursuit of philanthropy.
