Dawn Of War III release date and pre-order trailer

Sometimes it seems like it would be easier to list the publishers that don’t have a licence to make Warhammer 40,000 games than those that do,

but for a long time the only one that’s really mattered is whoever gets to make the Dawn Of War games. And at the moment that’s Sega.
Sega bought Dawn Of War creator Relic Entertainment several years ago and now they’ve announced the release date for the first new Warhammer 40,000 game under their stewardship, with Dawn Of War III due out on April 27 for PC.
As ever that announcement brings with it some tempting pre-order bonuses, which take the form of the Masters of War skin pack – offering alternative looks for the following in-game units:
  • Dark Queen skin for Lady Solaria (Imperial Knight)
  • Ghost Seer skin for Farseer Taldeer (Wraithknight)
  • Big Kustom skin for Beauty (Morkanaut)
On top of that there’s three different versions of the game you can buy, the standard version for, the Limited Edition, and the Collector’s Edition.
The Limited Edition comes with a premium disc book, lenticular art card, and official soundtrack, and costs £59.99.
The Collector’s Edition will set you back £99.99 and comes with all of the above, plus a replica Godsplitter Daemon Hammer and three mounted cloth faction banners.
