Looks like we’re getting multiple Jedi in Episode VIII (Picture: Film Frame/Disney/Lucasfilm via AP)
Well, it would seem we’re going to be meeting more than one Jedi when Episode VIII hits cinemas this December, thanks to some clarity from the official Star Wars social media accounts.
The French Star Wars Twitter account has tweeted a title card which names the film as Star Wars: Les Derniers Jedi.
Get excited, because in French, ‘derniers’ is referring to plural Jedi.
The Spanish version ‘Los Últimos Jedi’ also suggests plural Jedi in the title.
The same goes for our friends in Italy – ‘Gli Ultimi Jedi’ is a plural expression.
And the Germa version – ‘Die Letzten Jedi’ – is, you guessed it, referring to more than one Jedi.
Safe to say, there’s probably going to be a shortage of lightsabers come December as others join Rey in mastering the Force.
While we still need to patiently wait another 10 months for the next episode, another big spoiler has been doing the rounds giving us a massive hint at what’s to come.
