Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford for Blade Runner 2049

The sequel to Ridley Scott’s 1982 classic will see newcomer Officer K (Ryan Gosling) of the Los Angeles Police Department on the trail of Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) – a surviving blade runner who terminated android replicants for a living.

The pictures themselves posted on the official Facebook are a nifty feast for the eyes too, showing Ryan Gosling solemnly strutting through the snow and gazing afar in the futuristic Los Angeles setting.

If anything, we’re simply impressed by that pretty suave jacket.

Other snaps include Harrison Ford poking around on a phone with Ridley Scott, and director Denis Villeneuve pondering his script alongside a table decorated with boozy treats.

Blade Runner 2049 is set 35 years after the original film, which is largely considered one of the all-time greats of the sci-fi genre.

Alongside Gosling and Ford, the cast includes Ana de Armas as Joi, House Of Cards’ Robin Wright, The Walking Dead’s Lennie James, Jared Leto and Guardians Of The Galaxy’s Dave Bautista.
