Pokemon fan has made a stunning 3D version of the anime’s opening credits
Pokémon fans should put down their Gameboys and Poké balls for just a moment – because one switched on YouTuber has reimagined the iconic opening title sequence in glorious 3D.
The popular Japanese series and accompanying video game franchise found a brand new audience across 2016 with the rise of Pokémon Go and the launch of Pokémon Sun and Moon editions.
And thanks to animators at British YouTube channel QuickDrawCreate, the opening sequence has been reimagined in a similar style to animation studios Dreamworks and Pixar.
Using special rendering software, the update makes the little critters virtually pop out from the screen – even the scarier Pokémon are looking very cute indeed.

A special Valentine’s Day update for Pokémon Go – which ends on February 15 – will give players a double up of candy while catching, hatching and transferring Pokémon.
