People are pissed Beyonce was ‘robbed’ of Album Of The Year award by Adele

People were low key pissed that Beyonce was passed over for the gong for Lemonade. Even Adele was pretty surprised, telling the singer through tears during her speech she couldn’t accept the award: ‘Lemonade was so monumental and so well thought out.’

She obviously thought so. The Grammys deciding panel obviously didn’t.

As Adele took the award for 25 she said of Beyonce: ‘My dream…my idol is Queen B and I adore you, and you move my soul every single day and you have done for 17 years. I adore you and I want you to be my mummy.’

It was not enough for some fans, who thought Beyonce had been robbed.

Adele took home trophies for Song Of The Year, Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for Hello, and Record Of The Year and Album Of The Year for 25.

But hey, she won fair and square. Her album sold 1.7million copies in the US for starters, to Beyonce’s 1.5mil.
