Man who tried to torch shops sets fire to himself instead

A man who tried to torch to a several shops in Adelaide inadvertently set fire to himself instead.

CCTV footage shows two men stood next to a row of shops in the Australian city in the early hours of Monday morning..

One of the men is seen tipping accelerant on the premises, which then, unknown to him, leaks all over his foot.

As he goes to ignite the wall he is engulfed in a ball of flames.

He is seen running from the premises and then rolling on the ground to put out the fire on his leg and foot.

Police are still looking for the two men and are appealing to the public for information.
