Man jailed for beating kangaroo to death

Two men have been jailed in Australia after police discovered footage of them killing a kangaroo.

Vance Jarvis beat the kangaroo to death with a metal pole, egged on by friend Craig House.

Police found video showing them cornering the kangeroo in a dam in Bunbury, near Perth, and throwing rocks at it when they searched a computer on a separate matter.

House can be heard shouting: ‘Sneak out to it man, as soon as it lunges “boosh”, take ya thongs off’.

They had been due to go on trial yesterday but changed their pleas to guilty with house saying he ate the kangaroo because he was living rough.
