Justin Timberlake in funky Oscars 2017 opening

And surprisingly, almost all the stars at the ceremony could not resist dancing like they were at a school disco.

Timberlake appeared from the back of the auditorium at the Dolby Theatre and, approaching the stage, made sure to sing right next to his old Mickey Mouse Club co-star Ryan Gosling, who is nominated for Best Actor.

This did not make Gosling dance, sadly.

JT also gave a special shout-out to nominated actor Denzel Washington: ‘C’mon Denzel, you know the words.’ Does he, though?

Naturally Timbo also had a boogie with his wife Jessica Biel in the crowd because they’re so goddamn harmonious.

Sadly a lot of celebrities, some of whom deserve awards for things that aren’t dancing, joined in too.
