Dog helped to bury his dead brother after he was hit by a car

Footage shows the grieving dog shovelling soil with his nose into a shallow grave.

His brother can be seen half covered with soil in the hole next to a road.

The video is believed to have been taken in Buriram, north-east Thailand, on Wednesday.

At one point, the dog briefly stops to sniff his beloved brother before continuing to bury him.

Since it was posted online yesterday, dozens of people have been touched by the moving footage.

One person wrote: ‘I’m a 16 y/o guy but I legit wanted to cry, I would do anything for the dog who was pushing the dirt’.
