Alanis Morissette ‘has over £1million worth of jewellery stolen from her home’

TMZ say $2 million (£1.6 million) in jewellery was stolen from the property in Brentwood, according to law enforcement sources.

The incident is said to have happened last Thursday, and Alanis wasn’t home at the time.

It’s still unknown if anything other than jewellery was taken.

The report adds that the singer’s home is in a ‘very secure area’.

The 42-year-old lives with her husband Mario Souleye Treadway and their two daughters: Ever Imre, 6, and 8-month-old Onyx Solace.

Alanis and Mario spent Valentine’s Day on Tuesday hanging out at the beach.

She is best known such songs as Ironic, You Oughta Know and Thank U. Her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill is still considered a classic more than 20 years on.

Earlier this year her ex-manager Jonathan Todd Schwartz admitted to stealing £3.9million from her.
