Spotted: that Beyonce wore her own face on her Grammys gown?

We all know Beyonce was the shining star of the Grammys both for her performance and because she looked like a pure goddess, but there was more to her outfit than meets the eye.

While you were busy looking at that crown in all its splendour, or busy worrying about her falling off a chair, you probably missed one of the more understated aspects of Beyonce’s outfit choice.

If you look closely you can see her own likeness in the centre of her stomach, presumably watching over her unborn children. Only Queen Bey could get away with wearing her own face.

She also had some even harder to spot cherubs dressed in ivy on her hips, according to Buzzfeed.

Peter Dundas, the designer behind Beyonce’s dress, told Vogue that the dress took one week to embroider with 50 people working on it.

It was the designer’s first creation under his own name as he launches his solo label having spent the past few years as creative director of Roberto Cavalli and heading up Emilio Pucci.

His relationship with Beyonce goes way back though, with Dundas having worked with the artist for over ten years.
